- Do you accept reservations? (Answer)
Yes, we recommend reservations for lunch and dinner. See the module at the bottom of this page to reserve. If you are unable to reserve the desired time and date, we recommend calling the restaurant at (202) 638-0800 and we will make every attempt to accommodate you. Additionally, we do accept walk-ins even if our reservation books are full as not every table is available online. If you find yourself waiting, please feel free to find a seat in our large bar area on a first come first serve basis. Patio seating is also available weather permitting on a first come first served basis.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own wine for a corkage fee of $25, or your own birthday cake for a $2.50 per person service charge. However, we are proud to offer an extensive wine list based in the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as creative and delicious desserts.

Yes, the entire restaurant is wheelchair accessible except for the mezzanine space.
- What does Zaytinya mean? (Answer)
“Zaytinya” means “olive oil” in Turkish.
- Can you accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions? (Answer)
Yes, our standard menus offer a wide variety of options for vegetarians, vegans, those who do not eat pork or shellfish, as well as those with allergies of all kinds. Please inform your server of your needs and ask for advice. We are always happy to oblige special requests.
If your allergies are potentially life-threatening, please call the restaurant before your visit and ask for a chef or manager. He or she will work with you to make special arrangements if necessary.

Yes, that is possible by using an acceptance of payment form, which you can download by clicking here. Please include the guests’ reservation information and any special instructions, then fax it to the restaurant at 202-393-0555 in advance of their reservation. We do not accept credit card purchases over the phone.
- Do you have outdoor seating? (Answer)
Zaytinya has a lovely 70 seat patio area. Weather permitting, tables are available on the patio for full dining on a first come, first served basis. We do not reserve the patio, but we do take seating requests. If you would like to sit on the patio, please let us know when making your reservation. Our patio is no smoking.
