Join us this New Year’s Eve for a lively dining experience at Zaytinya to ring in the New Year.
This year, we will have two waves of dinner seatings:
The first seating is from 4:30 PM to 7:45 PM., where we will offer our regular a la carte dinner mezze menu with the addition of some exceptional New Year’s Eve specials. *Please note that all reservations during early seating are rebooked 3 hours following for our late seating.
Our second seating is from 8:45 PM to 10:00 PM, featuring two special tasting menu options in the dining room: The Zaytinya Classics Menu ($65) or the Chef’s Experience Menu ($85).
Both menus include a complimentary glass of sparkling wine for midnight toasting. Speaking of wine, our wine team has put together additional wine pairings for each menu.
The Chef’s Experience menu offers samplings of some of Zaytinya’s most exceptional and creative dishes. The special menu begins with an amuse of “liquid” kalamata olives followed by delectable mezzes such as
Caviar Salata Airbread, inspired by the classic taramosalata; Portakal Salatasi, orange salad, baby arugula, kalamata olives, pine nuts, and orange flower dressing; Knisa Htapotha, smoked octopus, black hummus and lemon; Braised Lamb Shoulder Moussaka, grilled lamb chops, potato puree, roasted eggplant tomato braised lamb shoulder, Béchamel, and kefalograviera cheese. For the perfect ending, guests have a choice of cheese or dessert to complete their meal. Olive oil cakes will be provided for guests as a special take home gift.

Since arriving to the United States over 20 years ago, José Andrés has helped promote the cuisine and culture of his native Spain. In May 2012, he was named Dean of the Spanish Studies program of the International Culinary Center, the first and only program of its kind offered in the United States.
The ICC, originally founded as The French Culinary Institute, is a world leader in culinary education and has graduated over 22,000 alumni worldwide. The unique program was designed by José Andrés, and Colman Andrews, a leading expert on Spanish cuisine, author of Catalan Cuisine, co-founder of Saveur and editorial director of www.thedailymeal.com
In addition to receiving a world-class training in traditional and modern Spanish cuisine, students will learn Spanish culture, history, geography and culinary terminology, making it the most authentic and comprehensive Spanish culinary program in the country.
